about my practice…
Is your daughter feeling anxious, stressed, or unsure of herself in school or social situations?
Many girls today are navigating intense academic pressure, social comparison, social media influences, and uncertainty about who they are and who they want to become. These pressures often show up as anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and difficulty trusting their own voice. My work helps clients better understand their thoughts, regulate their emotions, and develop a stronger internal sense of confidence.
I specialize in working with adolescent girls who appear high functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally. Together we work to reduce anxiety, build emotional resilience, strengthen self-esteem, and help them develop a clear sense of identity and direction.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families. My practice focuses on helping girls and young women struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, identity development, and the pressures of school, social relationships, and expectations from family and peers. My clinical approach integrates evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused strategies. I have also developed the Internal Confidence Framework, a structured treatment model designed to help girls manage anxiety, strengthen self-esteem, and build lasting confidence.
I have worked in school settings, outpatient programs, hospitals, and juvenile justice systems, which gives me a broad understanding of the many pressures adolescents face. My office is centrally located in Middlesex County, and I provide both individual therapy and structured programs designed to help girls build lasting confidence and emotional strength.
